Registered Massage Therapist
I received my Master in Practice Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M. OMSc), graduating from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO); a 4 year, 4200 hour program with a required 1000 hours of clinical training. I am a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) which is recognized with ALL 3rd party insurance providers.
Prior to the completion of this program, I practiced as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and still hold this accreditation, giving me 22 years of experience. I graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 1998, where I completed the 2200 hour massage therapy diploma program. I am also registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), which is regulated under the Ontario Health Professional Act.
Although passionate about my career, I also enjoy many other activities outside of my practice - one of them being Yoga. I am a true believer that the body and mind work together simultaneously. In my spare time, family and friends keep me very busy. My hobbies include, hiking, swimming, reading, music and travel. I continue to keep an open heart and mind in regards to new experiences and different ways of thinking, in order to develop my skills and techniques within the field.
